He was at work, and suddenly one of his colleagues made him afraid of work. He begins to indirectly bad mouth his boss. His colleague trying to involve him in this conversation and provoke him against his boss and superiors.
Due to his colleague's use of language, he begins to feel
unbalanced. Almost about to sweep his feet.
He realised that his colleague was trying to mess with his
brain. And distracts him from his career and goals.
He reaches home, thinks through it, and rewinds what happened in the conversation. He learned that his colleague is a thug in the
uniform jealous of him. He learned his thug colleague does not want him to see his rise in the eyes of his boss and superior, and at worst his colleague wants
to destroy his career by any or all means.
He was wise to realise and learn the intention of a thug colleague.
He decided “It is not the only thug, there will be many thugs like him, which I
should be careful of “. He begins to stay away from the thug as much as
possible by using the following ideas: -
- Do not answer thug's calls outside of work hours.
- Only speak in “short sentences” what is necessary regarding work.
- Being more honest with his work
- Being loyal to his boss and superiors.
- Keep himself busy with work and being alert all the time even when thugs appear to be favouring him.
When uses the above ideas, he returns to his balanced state of
mind and becomes more resilient. His respect towards his boss and superiors increases.
Have you identified thug in your career, let me know in the comments?
